Using bollards or similar, stop most traffic from accessing this road which is a rat run to car parks or people looking for a free place to park near M&S. It is mad that this has not been closed off ages ago.

The interaction between HGVs doing daytime deliveries to Iceland and the slightly chaotic parking frequently chaos traffic chaos, and the pavement is too narrow to be safely navigated when there is any traffic in the road, the whole thing requires a rethink.
