Public footpath used here to cross the bypass. Increasingly difficult due to traffic increase/speed. Whole bypass needs to be 40mph, speed cameras, pedestrian and cycle warning signs. Nothing less will do.

Crossing the bypass here is sometimes almost like playing a game of chicken. Vehicles drive fast & have no idea there’s a crossing point here. Why a footbridge wasn’t built over the bypass I’ve no idea - the railway track just feet away has a footbridge & could have been extended to cross the bypass as well.
