Why the 20mph speed limit was introduced with no traffic calming is a mystery. Look at loads of places in France which have chicanes, speed tables, paved roadways. Let's have them here as well. Then it won't be possible to speed. Just out of town Alexandra road has multiple speed tables. It can be done.
