The A366 carries a large volume of traffic, mainly between Radstock and Trowbridge, particularly at rush hours. Despite the installation of two SIDs, the 20mph maximum speed limit is largely ignored. This is particularly worrying considering the location of the village primary school. This section of road is the only section of main roads through Norton St Philip which has no traffic calming measures. We need effective speed cushions to bring the speed of traffic to within the speed limit on Church Street and Bell Hill.
