Quarry traffic within the town boundary

I am increasingly concerned about the number of quarry lorries that use our town for overnight parking.

It has become very noisy in the early hours of morning and late evening when drivers collect and leave their vehicles.

I live next to the Butts and regularly see convoys of them leaving the trading estate onto the Butts.

Surely the quarry lorries should return to base overnight.

This would improve the environment and better protect our town roads, which regularly collapse under the strain with old Victorian services beneath the roads.
