Keyford needs traffic restrictions

Keyford is too narrow for heavy goods vehicles, articulated lorries and tractors with trailers which frequently mount the pavement. This year two parked cars have been damaged by hit and run drivers and recently a lorry knocked down scaffolding outside no 58. Keyford is now a residential street and should be de-registered as a B-road with width restrictions imposed (wide enough for the community bus).

Firstly, the blob is in the wrong place for Keyford - I'm concerned about the stretch of Keyford from the fire station to the traffic lights.
Traffic has increased over recent months - this maybe partially related to the crazy amount of traffic lights/road works elsewhere in town and everyone looking for a way out of town, but it has been on a steady increase over the last few years.
There are regularly jams running the whole length of the road, for example when a delivery driver stops, or the bin lorry is on its rounds. This causes snarl ups around Woodland Road junction, with knock-on effects down there to0. These are incredibly difficult to resolve, and combined with the usual, full-capacity of parked cars, AND additionally some very badly parked ones along here, this causes lots of air and noise pollution, as well as making it much harder for pedestrians to navigate.
And if it's not busy, then there are are a select group of young men who think it's a great opportunity to come tearing up Gore Hedge, swing into Keyford, and then go racing up the road to the traffic lights with their exhausts popping (obviously far exceeding the speed limit).
We need speed bumps all the way along, vehicle weight/width/height restrictions and a table-crossing for pedestrians at the end by the fire station. This is a busy pedestrian route for school kids, with the added hinderance of shoddy parking and narrow pavements in places.
