Focus on Frome’s local history, with its old buildings, river and industry, by using local artists and sculptors.

Focus on the local history of the area that everyone who has lived here for many years loves to talk about and those that dont know can learn about? Something to bring people together and feel proud of their town’s history. Big boards (enlarged images of paintings by local artists and children) or more murals by different artists, showing the history of the area - cattle market, dyeing and cloth, etc. Place the illustrated town map more central within this/these area/s and/or increase the size of it - it’s a beautifully illustrated map. Billboard size images of artwork could be up on the walls of the buildings (rather than free standing boards or posts) where they cant be defaced. Sculptures too. And more communal seating, with stone tables where people can play games and eat.
