Critchill Road / Oakfield Road junction markings lost after resurfacing

Critchill Road / Oakfield Road junction markings have not been replaced after Critchill Road was resurfaced. Other road markings were replaced, so I assume this configuration was not highway code approved otherwise it would have been replaced along with the others? While not many people stopped for children walking to and from school, I find that many simply walked out onto this unofficial crossing without even looking for oncoming vehicles. While I didn't agree with this unapproved configuration, leaving it as it is makes a mockery of the so call self-declared successful safer school scheme, especially now as pedestrians, specifically children expect to have the right of way here.
