Trees are important.
The green is well used by local people and children. You regularly see families here playing together.
More trees, colour, and flowering shrubs would be welcomed.
Provide places for people to gather.
Picnic benches would be useful, but not in excessive numbers.
Back in 2000 we had real problems with teenagers gathering on the benches that used to be here. The police were called. We had the benches taken out. We don’t want a repeat of that, so no benches thanks.
Wildflower meadow on part of the site could be lovely, with paths mown through it for people to walk through. The children would love that.
More planting to support a wide variety of birds.
This place is a well-kept secret. Let's keep it that way.
More trees for shade, areas to sit and chat or have a picnic would be lovely.

Paths should be kept clear of brambles.
Brambles are becoming overgrown and are spreading into neighbouring gardens.
Areas next to residential boundaries should be kept tidy and maintained.

Brunel Green is an important place for walking dogs, particularly in winter when there are few alternatives.
The area is loved by dog walkers.
Better drainage is needed, as the ground can become very wet.
More litter bins and dog waste bins would be good.
Footpaths should be improved, particularly where there are uneven sections or large bumps.
Provide opportunities for walking while maintaining the open, green character of the site.
We value the Green as a community green space and would like it to remain that way.
Any additional facilities like benches and picnic tables should be carefully located and not placed too close to nearby homes.
Maintenance should balance access, recreation, nature conservation, and the needs of those of us that live here.
