Central Ticketing/Marketing Hub

I wholeheartedly support the bid; excellent, ambitious thinking.

I would suggest a really useful, practical addition to Frome's cultural scene would be to increase visibility of the disparate cultural hubs we have on offer. There is so much excellent live performance in and around Frome but it could be supported by better infrastructure.

If there was a central (physical) location with information on all the events happening in Frome I believe it would increase audiences across the different venues/organisations rather than hurt them. The council already distributes posters to the various sites around town which is wonderful but slightly ad hoc. If there was a staffed central hub all the venues could include a poster drop there, perhaps special ticket offers too, and it would bring together the glorious work being down at Lucky Chance, the Merlin, the Memorial, the Cheese & Grain and all the others into one place and show what a vibrant and thriving scene Frome really is.
