There is an absence of pavement or footpath for about 50 yards on this stretch of the Radstock road (A362). This means significant danger from passing traffic for anyone trying to walk from town to Jack's Lane.
It is possible that hidden under weed growth from adjoining land there is a footpath there waiting to be rediscovered. It's very difficult to tell just by looking.
