All are welcome to attend the Annual Council Meeting. This meeting includes a lot of administrative matters such as adopting important documents like the Standing Orders, and electing chairs, committee members and lead councillors for different areas of work. As always, there's time for questions and comments from the public. These don't have to be related to the agenda.
Also on the agenda this month, councillors will make decisions about:
🎦 Funding for public CCTV cameras
🚲 Loaning e-bikes to Frome Community Bike Project for their new bike hire service at Frome Station
🛍️ A new staff role for managing Frome Weekly Markets
🧻 ... and we'll hear a verbal update on the 25-year lease we've been asking Somerset Council to provide for the Market Yard toilets
There's no need to book. If you're coming in person we recommend getting here a few minutes early to grab a cup of tea or coffee and say hi to the councillors and staff at your table. If you're coming on Zoom, you'll need to join the meeting online.
